Frame Shift Drive Interdictors don't work during orbital flight - so Thargoids can't pull you out of Supercruise and just become regular NPCs, if you are flying near a landable planet. If they "crash" and leave a Low-Wake, their normal "Supercruise Interdiction Encounter" starts upon entering it, just with reverse positions.
