Screw Attack damage is the absolute best way to fell the Mutated Emperor Ing, but mixing beams and SA creates a serious problem. If you change his heart to light or dark, Screw Attack him, then follow up with beam damage before his heart changes back to red, all Screw Attack damage done during this heart color phase will be healed.

The root of this bug is usually attributed to the same problem that lets Screw Attack damage EI3 in the first place; the code that permits him to heal is another beta artifact that should no longer exist. Dark Samus 4 also has a healing bug, but how it works is unknown.
