Empire of Sin is one of the many games on sale during the Steam Lunar Year sale. At 10 USD, this is fine but anymore than that and I do not see it as being worth it

TLDR:

The game is too RNG heavy and you can't play the way you want to. The recruitment process is one example of this. You can't recruit normal gangsters like how you recruited soldiers in Xcom

They only made 3 leaders worth it in the game. I guess you could play the other leaders for fun but 2 are your overall best.. Tong and Mabel. Goldie is a good late game leader

The market is another example of how RNG heavy it can get. There was one run where I was unable to get armor from the market

Some classes aren't good. This ties back to how you recruit. If you could lose gangsters and replace them like Xcom soldiers then that would help make things better

Due to this game having its own launcher, it means that even if you buy it from Steam you still have to go through that. That sucks for account reasons and Linux gaming reasons

Overall, this game is not worth more than 10 USD in my opinion
