I know I am late to the discussion but here is everything that I think on the matter

TLDR:

Microsoft has a monopoly and it will only get worse if the deal goes through with Activision

If the deal goes through without FTC intervention it sends a signal in the US that companies can do whatever they want. The FTC won't care about the market. It sends another signal to the world that the US doesn't care about their market

I doubt Microsoft is going to clean up Call of Duty because they are just as greedy. Also if what is said is true.. That they will leave COD to do its own thing then nothing will change

For COD to succeed going forward they need better organization on the weapon categories, and more data readily available
