Thanks for watching! I finally got my little arcade emulation setup put together and it is working great. I customized some sticks, used a Dell Optiplex with a 4 core i5 as the 'brains', and installed Launchbox pro version with BigBox on a 128GB SSD with some games and the OS.
Hooked up to a CRT monitor just inches from your face, this really delivers that at-home arcade experience, and I didn't need to rent a flatbed to haul the stuff home. Right now, I have it set up on a desk so you can sit down and play, but I may get a small counter-height table and set it up on that in a corner so it can be played at a normal standing height.
No matter how you play it though, this delivers a great experience on CPS! and CPS2 games, NEO GEO MVS titles, as well as Dreamcast stuff. This was a fun project and if you like arcade games, but don't want to deal with the logistics of a full-size cabinet, I would definitely recommend something liek this for an at-home experience.
