Response to the video on TheJoyOfSticks channel about the relative merits and downsides of emulation. Link to his video (thanks to him for allowing me to include his clips):

I don't think I really managed to properly explain my opinion here, but in any case I was encouraged to do the experiment for myself and see if using real hardware was more enjoyable for me.

To see what I thought, check out the upcoming episodes of Ain't Played In Ages, using a real Super Nintendo. The video quality is lower than usual, but it's still watchable (I think).

I will also be doing a followup video on the subject after the gameplay videos.
