This little bamboo walkway was SUPER reminiscent for me. I lived in Japan as a kid and this reminded me of some of the narrow walkways in Japan with tons of bamboo everywhere. There are plenty of places like that here now, but this was just a huge memory jog for me and I appreciated it.

I had a fortunate childhood being able to go to live in Japan for a year and change. The irony? At the time I had no idea what anime was or much of the culture. After I got back and grew up a tiny bit I became a huge anime nerd and fell even more in love with the culture and got to look back and smile as I remembered some of those childhood memories of my life in Japan.

Anyway, I wanted to share that short memory. This is the best way I knew how!
