END GAME Automation and Logistics Solutions - Processor & Orbit Collector - Dyson Sphere Program
100In the late game of Dyson Sphere Program, a lot of the game boils down to plugging holes in logistics. Towers can do great work in making sure that resources go where they need to go, but even so my Dyson Sphere is building slowly and my research is going to a crawl. There's lots of stuff we need, number one of which is CPUs, or Processors, to fuel pretty much everything I want to build. So, in the words of people I've asked about it on Reddit and Discord, it's time to BUILD MORE STUFF. I put some of my CPU production off world on an ice planet in my home system, but in this video we go a few steps further.
The reason this is a nearly 3 hour stream is because I have three points of solutions I want to break down. First, obviously, is getting more Processors online. Even though you'll see in the video that sometimes I do back up my processor count, you'll see real fast that the surplus is an illusion. Second, I work on ramping up my Quantum Processor production by making more Field Plates. It's weird -- those things are easy to build but slow. And finally, because I want to start harvesting more Hydrogen and Deuterium from my local gas giant, I need to build more Orbit Collectors. Unfortunately, it will take a TON of time for me to make the components by hand. So in this video I go over how to automate building the key components.
I know this is a long stream and for Dyson Sphere Program I've been putting out longer stream videos of content. There's supposedly a general rule of "split your videos into 20-30 minute parts and spread it out," but I'm tired of playing the YouTube game. I'd rather do it like some other content creators that I appreciate. They make a good stream, they post it. They don't splice and dice just to feed the algorithm. After all, with a game like DSP a lot of times I'm working towards multiple goals at the same time and my attention is being slung all over the place -- it would be hard to break down this vod into 1) Processors, 2) Quantum, 3) Orbit Collector because my work flow is all over the place.
