Despite all of its trimmings, Everspace 2 is still largely a game about space combat. And it turns out that when you get a lot of levels and your gear can't keep up, killing things becomes very difficult. There's definitely a difficulty jump from level 5 to 6, as suddenly pirates are much more aggressive and have some interesting/annoying defensive profiles as well. Not all is lost, but I do have my work ahead of me to get back on track.


Let's just say that if you're looking for someone to make a supercut of their elite dogfighting footage, you're not going to find that kind of content here today.


My hope in 2021 is to get back to doing some Let's Play content and do some series instead of just doing one-off or two-off videos. And Everspace 2 definitely has a lot of content to bite into. For this episode, there's a lot of back story. But once we're through that, we can start enjoying our six degrees of freedom throughout the known (and unknown) universe.
