Gutierrez directed a multitude of national TV commercials, several music videos (including Touch of Grey for The Grateful Dead) and short comedy films for Steven Wright, Judy Tenuta, Paul Provenza, Alan King productions, Brandon Tartikoff, others. Did the title sequence design for most of Francis Coppola's movies and many other clients. VFX Supervision for many feature films and TV movies, including FLIGHT 93, THE LIZZIE McGUIRE MOVIE, BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA, TOP GUN, THE RIGHT STUFF, NEW AMSTERDAM and many more. VFX for eight episodes of QUICKDRAW, Hulu Original Programming. VFX title sequence design for MOZART IN THE JUNGLE, Amazon Prime. Co-founder and partner, Colossal Pictures (1976 -1996) as director, designer and VFX supervisor. Gutierrez began his career as an animation director for SESAME STREET, THE ELECTRIC COMPANY and THE GRATEFUL DEAD MOVIE.
