Enjoy Gerry O.’s interview with Steve Michelson about “Making Media That Matters.” Michelson is Executive Producer for The Fund for Sustainable Tomorrows, specializing in supporting engagement campaigns around cause-related documentaries, specifically - health, social justice, sustainability and the environment.
Steve’s on line course, at Ringling College in Sarasota FL, will launch this year called Making Media That Matters.
Michelson has Executive Produced many award-winning films including: In Our Own Hands How Patients are Reinventing Medicine (2020), The Third Harmony(2020), Scarred Lands and Wounded Lives (2016), Nature’s Orchestra, (2017), Walking in Two Worlds, (2014), River of Renewal (2009) and more.
His Lobitos Creek Ranch, in Half Moon Bay, CA. is a retreat center for organizations and groups.
Steve has served four terms as a Governor with the National Academy for Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and is the recipient of the Gilbert Award from the San Francisco Bay Area film community for his contributions to the industry. Steve was the co-founder of One Pass Inc.from 1975-1988, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's The Annenberg School of Communications and the Wharton School of Business.
