Matthew 2 shows the Epiphany events (three kings visit), which is clearly after this, because it relates how immediately after the visit of the magi, Joseph was warned in a dream to FLEE to Egypt. After the FLIGHT was the SLAUGHTER.
Epiphany events are January 6-7, and if the Dec 31 warning was indeed the PERFECT TEN (confirmed by Bible code?), then this may indeed be the 7 day warning from Dec 31 to January 6-7, EPIPHANY, FLIGHT, AND SLAUGHTER.
