Episode Duscae - Softlock from escaping sparring
0While setting the White Gladio glitch again, I managed to get the demo to softlock on me. Fun fun.
Basically if the demo registers to pop up the rematch option while Noctis is not within the sparring area (plus a little bleed area), it softlocks.
So one way is to get revived telepathically by Gladio while still outside the sparring area. Another is to finish Gladio, then warp strike out ASAP.
Both method made it into the vid. I got lucky once to get hit back into the space for the demo to pop up the rematch option, "thawing" the demo back.
The usual deal, can't move or perform action. Can't remember if can pause, but it wouldn't help anyway. Camera works fine, same for scrolling techniques.
Of all things, the combat menu works as well. Can change weapon slots and use item (the animation plays), but pretty useless given the situation.
Now to test if I can summon...
