DMC4 - Hold's handy properties
Some of the lesser utilised properties of Nero's hold ability: the height limit for aerial Buster and the delayed turning of held enemies relative to Nero.
This video is mainly for archive. Since DMC4:SE may or may not alter Nero's moveset. Apology in advance for the video effects, can't help myself.
Part 1.
Some moves are known to release held enemies without activating Buster. Since Buster (in the air) has a height limit, Nero can release held enemies on the startup of his jump (and right before landing), allowing some setup if nothing else.
Part 2.
Held enemies has a slight delay before it turns to follow Nero. This can be used for some tricky combos if nothing else. The clip with reversed Calibur is a very simplified version of Brea's by the way.
The NG clip at the end, Charged Shot hit the just released scarecrow at a very awkward angle.
