Here is a full, professionally edited review and recap on Final Fantasy XV's DLC episode - Episode Ignis - complete with gameplay, cutscenes, and a whole lotta my opinion.

Episode Ignis game elements I discuss in detail:
• Story Clarity - I had always figured his eyesight was lost to a falling bridge or something, but NO! This was SO much better than that.
• The Music / OST - There is so much to say about Yasunori Mitsuda's score. If you haven’t paid attention to the music in Episode Ignis, you need to, starting this very moment. Literally. Stop reading this (Mom) and start listening to this music.
• Character - Holy crap, you guys. I love Ignis. Love, love, love this character. Brilliant.
• Brotherhood Payoffs - The best part about the main game is the relationship between the four guys, and the worst part about the main game was the lack of closure this relationship got at the end. So THANK YOU for throwing us a bone during this episode!
• Animations - Ignis's animations went from "yeah" in the main game to "MCBLEEP YEAH" in this episode.
• Ravus - Finally, we get to spend more time with him and learn more about who he is! Despite the plastic surgery his face apparently underwent between this episode and Kingsglaive, it's nice to chum it up with the Oracle's silver-haired sibling.
• Alternate Ending - Sooo.... I was one of those people who was disappointed with the main game's ending, but I didn't ask for this.
I created this review because I sincerely love the game, and since film/video is my favorite vehicle of creative expression (as well as my career), I couldn’t help myself. Editing this was SO MUCH FUN -- a solid week of sorting through Ignis clips, leading me to conclude that Ignis Scientia is now officially my favorite video game character of all time. Not even kidding. You may prefer Mario or Link or Samus or Sonic or someone -- I am all about Ignis Scientia.
Since I can’t seem to shake this obsession (nor do I really want to), expect more Final Fantasy XV content from me in the future -- I’ve got some pretty cool stuff in the works, so subscribe and hit that bell to be the first to know when anything is released.
