In-depth PC game review of Unreal Tournament for Windows. Developed by Epic Megagames (now known as Epic Games), published by GT Interactive and released in 1999. Unreal Tournament (retroactively called "UT99") serves as a multiplayer-only side series to the Unreal storyline.

In an attempt to control violence among deep space miners, the New Earth Government legalizes deathmatch. The Liandri Mining Corporation establishes a series of leagues for these deathmatch tournaments, and soon became their most profitable business venture.

Unreal Tournament had so much memorable content. Many fans consider Facing Worlds to be one of the best multiplayer maps ever made. It's memorable announcer hypes you up for the MONSTER KILL. The game was featured at the World Cyber Games and many smaller LANs around the world. The 1999 release is consider to be the best Unreal Tournament game in the series.
