ESCAPING PITTSBURGH | The Last Of Us Remastered Playthrough - Part 17
4Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us Remastered playthrough, we met up with another child and adult team in Henry and Sam. They have a place to lay low for a bit but we have to get there first and of course there are plenty of hunters along the way. Even though there are four of us now it still seems like Joel will have to take charge as we come to a group and I have to walk in and strangle them all myself. Once I get spotter Henry stars helping though which is nice and I am not sure but Ellie has a gun so she may have been pitching in as well. We climb up and enter and office building and after I sweep it for supplies I follow Henry though some doors he has the keys for into a CEO's office. This is where they had been staying the past few nights. We get a cute cut scene of Ellie and Sam having some fun and Henry talks about how he hasn't seen him smile in a while. Things get serious again though as Henry shows me the gate that is heavily guarded and explains that there is only a handful guarding at night so that is when we should strike if we really plan on escaping Pittsburgh. We get some rest and once night falls it is time to head out. There only are a few guards here Like Henry said and once I take out the one on the ground I am able to sneak up and turn off the generator powering the spot light. The other two guys jump down and I am able to stealth them but unfortunately for me I didn't notice the several other guards show up and we get in a little fire fight. Once they are all dead we head to open the gate but of course the humvee shows up. We rush in and lock it but they start ramming the door. We need to think fast as I boost Henry, Sam and Ellie on top of a bin but when I jump up the ladder breaks. Ellie jumps back down to stick with me and we find another way right as the door breaks open. More men show up in here but we make short work of them and get to the other side. Of course there is another gate and right when we get out it is rammed down. We start running for the bridge while it chases and shoots. Things keep going bad for us as we get to the middle of the bridge and find it is broken. The Humvee is right on us and we are trapped until Ellie decides to jump forcing me to follow and right when I keep her from drowning Joel slams into a rock and blacks out. We wake up on a beach and Henry and Sam are here. They pulled us out but Joel is not happy as he walks up and pushes Henry over pulling a gun on him. After a little talk he cools down and we get ready to move again.
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. 20 years after a pandemic has radically changed known civilization, cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature, infected humans run wild and survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a violent survivor, is hired to smuggle a 14 year-old girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, but what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal journey across the U.S.
