Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Long Dark Story Mode (Wintermute) playthrough, in my quest for plants I have made it back to the dam and almost have everything I need. While I am here though I decide to go and grab the other thing the forest talker asked me to grab from the bottom of the stairwell. Since it is late I decide to spend the night here and the continue my search for old mans beard in the morning. It takes me a bit off camera to make it to some but I start straying from the path I usually take and find more than enough! I decide to take a new path back to the trappers cabin as well and it works out surprisingly well since I had seen more animals on the train tracks then I did here. This episode was a little slow since it was mostly looking for plants but now that I am back at Jeremiahs I am in good shape to do both the clothing part of the school and the side quest that I have started as well!

The Long Dark is a thoughtful, exploration-survival experience that challenges solo players to think for themselves as they explore an expansive frozen wilderness in the aftermath of a geomagnetic disaster. There are no zombies -- only you, the cold, and all the threats Mother Nature can muster.
