Eternal Fighter Zero is a 2D fighting game developed by Tasogare Frontier, a doujin circle also known for creating official Touhou fighting games (Touhou Hisouten ~ Scarlet Weather Rhapsody being one of them). The game features characters from various visual novels (Moon, One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e, Kanon, and Air) duking it out on a dream match-like stage, with their attacks also referencing other characters from other fighting games (for example, Misuzu Kamio's moveset takes inspiration from Guilty Gear's Testament).
Besides your standard super meter, there is also the "Reinforce Gauge", which slowly fills out into three different levels and could be used for move cancelling (the "Instant Charge" technique - if it's done in the last level (light blue, representing 100%-ish charge), extra hitstun and damage could be reached) and EX attacks ("Reinforce Attack" - only available in the blue/50 - 100% charge range). Recoil Guard, which can be done by timing your blocking to around the same time the attack hits, could also negate blockstun/pushback/chip damage and allow the user to counterattack.
