This boss may be at roughly the same point in the game you fought Fenrir but the Chimaera is way harder. That being said there are things you can do to make your life easier. You can use the lure bells to take out 4 of the imps fairly easily before the fight begins. As for the last 2 they seem a bit too far away to effectively lure but sleep bells work all the same. Now as for the Chimaera itself ya know how enemies are gonna overall have much lower HP than the EO1 opponents did? NOT FOR CHIMAERA! This boss has 1400 HP, 200 more than fenrir, and a lot more defense backing it up. As for attacks it has 4 skills as far as I know. Aura which is an attack buff that you'll want gone immediately or you'll get clocked for potentially 100 damage, then there's pile which isn't too bad but I've noticed this attack always seems to go for your back row. 2-Hit, I'll let you guess what that does. Then the most dangerous attack being blaze which will hit your entire front line for 60-80 fire damage. Either way hit him enough and eventually he'll die, possibly before the Imps even show up.
Afterwards head back to where you found the heavily injured wulfgar and you'll unlock the beast class... then allow Wulfgar to rest in peace.
