For a superboss this guy sucks
Difficulty: 6/10
So the wiki considers Anemone to be the hardest of the three superbosses (not dragons) and I say BS to that. Anemone resists everything except for elemental attacks which he's weak to and he has a decent amount of defense but his HP is very low for a superboss.

He has an attack that does decent damage and can drain, the drain the amount of damage done back as HP, he has an attack that can inflict bad statuses, and then tentacle reap which does minimal damage... like single digit damage... sure it has the chance to instakill but those odds are fairly low and if you equip death magatamas it drops to near zero making this attack go from scary to comedic as you take 1 damage.

Also unless you're a purist I highly recommed lowering the difficulty to picnic before you submit a sidequest so you can net yourself a 50% experience boost.
