Difficulty: 7-10/10

If you're trying to decipher that jank scoring method I'll just tell you straight up the Progenitor doesn't have an attack pattern. There's not really any scripting to fall back on or exploit it just does whatever the heck it wants. That being said you don't want to get crazy with debuffs or it will start spamming liberate which removes and debuffs and binds on top of recovering 10% of its HP. Unlike deep princess however he can use this whenever he wants once he drops below half health.
Otherwise he primarily uses dark breath as a regular attack which is a heavy hitting move with splash damage.
Vine rush is his scary multi strike move but it's accuracy is kind of bad so it has a chance of either killing half your party or doing jack all. Still better to have a tank just in case.
Then he has accumulate which is his charge move buffing his next attack, it's basically charge and concentrate rolled into one.
Thorn Cutter is a single hit attack that does around 650 damage to a lightly armored target and if he charges beforehand it will likely do over 1000 damage.
Then there's his elemental attacks.
Frozen eye isn't too bad but it can lower your offense dragging out an already long fight.
Spine Blaze is able to hit a bit harder and have the chance of binding multiple limbs but oddly he never used it, though that'd be great for an Yggdroid.
Then there's death thunder which I think got a bit nerfed in the remaster. Originally it hit your party for a lot of damage with a high chance of petrifying the party. But now it seems to pool from all the status effects which are considerably less dangerous in my honest opinion.

Either way after the boss goes down we get a lore dump that reminds me of Etrian Odyssey 5.
Don't be ashamed if you struggle here this is widely considered to be the hardest final boss in the series. I personally find the Eternal Tyrant from Etrian Odyssey 5 to be harder but I won't go and pretend like this guy isn't dangerous.
