So turns out NG+ shenanigans basically make this boss required when traversing the Porcelain Forest.
Anyways it has the same general elemental breath rule on turn 1 then any turn that's a multiple of 5 but it has the big difference is that sometimes it'll just not do it and you've wasted an ice block. Thankfully survival is a bit easier here than it is against Wyrm as this boss has overall lower attack than the other dragons but he has significantly higher defense. On top of that instead of throwing out a crappy attack debuff he'll boost his own defense with Ice block making him tanky AF and covering his weakness against electricity. But then there's Glacial Regen which will have him recover over 1700 HP every turn. You'll really want to either stock up on Laudanum or know the skill Ad Nihilo. Sure surviving the Blizzard King isn't as difficult as surviving the Great Dragon but that hardly matters when the great dragon when this fight lasts twice as long you're gonna be worn down and run out of resources.
