Yep we're doing difficulty ratings again.
Fenrir is a very easy boss if you know what to expect, this boss will be guarded by 3 Skolls and then have 4 skolls as backup. I recommend killing the 3 skolls on your first visit as they won't respawn, After that you fight Fenrir with full HP. As for the fight itself all he really does in phase 1 is bite you for an admittedly scary amount of damage, especially without defense boosts.
However after a few turns pass the Skolls he has as backup will start joining the fight. They don't have much HP but they be extra damage. See Fenrir gains 2 new skills once he goes below Half HP, first is Coldfang an attack that does Ice damage to the entire party, admittedly it's accuracy is ass, with a small chance of inflicting sleep, otherwise it can roar which raises the attack of it and any Skoll in battle as well as Fenrir itself.

Now this actually sounds like it could be a relatively tough fight but here's the thing. He doesn't have any status immunity outside of instant death, he's very susceptible to binds, and he has an absurd weakness to fire damage. You will more than likely kill him before the third Skoll even thinks about showing up.

And while I'm here I want to take this time to say when in doubt USE FIRE! I'm not kidding fire is the weakness for a majority of enemies in this game and half of the boss fights including the final boss, some endgame optional bosses, one of the dragon superbosses, and the most powerful boss in the game.

Now that we've covered Fenrir let me talk about what will and won't be counted as boss fights. Random FOE's do not count they're simply strong enemies to avoid. Quest bosses will be counted if significant enough, no to the firebird but yes to the chimera for example. FOE's or Minibosses with set encounters will be included (such as the Iron claw in the second stratum or the Abyssal Death in Etrian Odyssey 3)
