The Golem only has one offensive skill, Triple strike which is just it's physical attack 3 times. Otherwise it will always ambush you and open the fight with flash which can blind the whole party, or miss hilariously. Then it has Barrier to lessen physical damage, ward to lessen magic damage, and regen to regenerate HP... so yeah the entire gimmick of this boss is to stall and it does that well considering it takes slightly reduced physical damage and it has 7000 HP. Oh but that's not all because if you kill the Golem while it has Regen active it will revive itself just to drag the fight out more. There's a case to be made for just saving this boss for the endgame and nuking it down especially since the boss doesn't give any experience and the reward is just 3000 Ental. Nowhere near as good as the Etrian Odyssey Untold version of the game.
