[EU4] Forced into version 1.4...
6The Conquest of Paradise DLC was coming out a few hours later than planned, so I tried to take advantage of the delay - expecting Patch 1.4 to be delayed with it - to finish off my current Austria/HRE game that had about 90 years left to play.
Unfortunately, Patch 1.4 went live just before I could start the game, and with no way to deny the update - Ironman saves don't work if game version is mismatched - I'm forced to finish out my campaign with all the new nonsense that I didn't want. Like the colonial nations, the Western European trade node, the faster combat etc.
*sigh* Paradox, if you're going to release such major patches, how about an option in each game's save file to allow the user to choose when to change what version's rules it plays under?
