Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone - Anime Movie Review
5Welcome to my review of the 2007 anime film, Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone. This is the first part in the four part Rebuild of Evangelion film series, which some say is a sequel to the original series while others see them as their own separate story. The movie mostly follows the first six episodes from the original anime series with some pretty significant changes, such as the opening scene, Misato knowing about Lilith being kept in Terminal Dogma, and Kaworu appearing on the moon at the end saying, "the third one, again." I really enjoyed this movie, especially the cgi scenes which I typically do not like seeing in anime. The one complaint I have is the fact that Toji and Kensuke are barely in the movie (they are in 2.22 a little bit more), but considering their roles in the fourth movie, it is a little disappointing.
