so, hitbox is a cheap polygon that's invisible to us. it's not dependent on anything but that model - entirely divorced from what appears as the hull to you and I.

adding signature radius passive or actively doesn't adjust this hitbox - nor distance travelled

adding mass passively seems to help reduce bump effect (higg's rig), but an active mass increase (mwd) doesn't reduce the distance travelled.

hitting from the top or bottom instead of ramming the tail end seems to do less bump effect (as i'd noticed during my clinical trials. lol)

that should be definitive enough for everyone but the trolls, who think this sort of thing is their own personal "make your own adventure" public novel thread kind of thing...i'm sure they can come up with a zillion different 'what ifs' and crack pot theories...cuz, well, trolls are cranks and quacks.
