Exceed Drift Star + 5700kv Castle Brushless & LiPo = MONSTER - bad crash at end off cam
13Upon further inspection several things were broke beyond what I listed in the video. They are the following:
Rear Shock Tower - listed, split into several pieces
Right Rear Hub Carrier - listed
Rear Gearbox Mount - fractured and bent bad enough too...
Rear Suspension Brace - bent severely from the gearbox mount bending
Rear Lower Arm Mount Pin - also bent in too much of an S shape to fix
Rear e Clips - flew off, couldn't find them
Left Rear A arm - fractured and bent in an S shape
Gearbox Cover - major chunk missing out of that
Chassis - bent on the rear left corner of where the suspension brace fits against it.
The chassis I'm going to try to bend back enough to make it work in order to avoid
having to move EVERYTHING to a new chassis!
In short... I hit that curb very... very hard.
I've been working out the kinks in this dumb little project of mine and finally got it together long enough to get some footage. How does the footage end you ask? I broke it of course!
Camera : GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition
Car - Exceed Drift Star (basically the same as the drift king, flying fish, mad speed, and others that they sell of this scale)
Motor - Castle Creations Sidewinder V3 5700kv
ESC - Mamba Max Pro
Battery - Turnigy 5000mah 30c LiPo
Tires - less than 25% tread so cut me a break on the driving lol.
