Game Master Tips| Exploring Dungeon Crawls In Tabletop Role-Playing Games
Dungeon crawls are the back bone of any good D&D game no matter what edition you are playing. It's how we get introduced to the game. A lot of the classic modules and pre-written dungeons and dragons adventures are dungeon crawls. Puzzles, traps, riddles, and of course monsters are all key elements to a dungeon crawl.
If you are playing a D&D game or a Pathfinder game or even some other RPG well designed dungeon crawls will spice up your game. Also we have ask ourselves what is a dungeon crawl. First and for most Dungeon crawls don't actually have take place in a dungeon. An ancient space craft that crashed and is no longer operational could very well be used as dungeon in a dungeon crawl. A long forgotten god's corpse floating through the astral plane where you must enter the corpse and retrieve something from within could very well be a setting for a dungeon crawl.
Feel free to tell us your dungeon crawl stories down below in the comments no matter what Tabletop Role-Playing Game it is from we'd love to hear about.
