Pathfinder Gameplay Set In The D&D Dark Sun Campaign Setting World
So recently Nerdarchist Ryan kicked off a Pathfinder game set in the harsh world of Athas also know as Dark Sun. Dark Sun was a D&D campaign world that was created back in the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons days. Many of us old school gamers instantly fell in love with it. Of all the D&D worlds Dark Sun probably had the biggest love hate from it's fans. At the time it was the harshest Dungeons & Dragons worlds TSR had come up with for the D&D franchise. Hell in Dark Sun even the plants could kill you with their mind powers (Psionics). Psionics were a huge part of the Dark Sun Setting. Along with new and interesting races. The campaign world takes place after magic all but wiped out the planet and that's where you kind of start your adventure.
Ryan decided to cobble together a Dark Sun game from the old AD&D material plus some stuff that got put into a Dragon and Dungeon magazine. Then he took all of that and spliced it into the Pathfinder system. So far so good we are having a blast with the Dark Sun, Pathfinder super game.
