Extra Lives and Level Select Codes in Ninja Turtles II (NES) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #shorts
4,717In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game for NES, there are three useful codes you can input right as the game starts to begin with extra lives and access a level select screen.
To start the game with nine lives, enter the following inputs on the title screen:
Up, Right, Right, Down, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Left, B, A, Start. Choose your character and begin the game. When you start, you'll see that your ninja turtle has 9 lives.
For the level select code, press the following inputs on the title screen:
Down, Down, Down, Down, Down, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right, B, A, Start. Once you choose your turtle, the game will allow you to select which level to start on.
To activate both codes at the same time, enter the following inputs on the title screen:
B, A, B, A, Up, Down, B, A, Left, Right, B, A, Start.
For both codes on Two Player mode input this on the title screen:
B, A, B, A, Up, Down, B, A, Left, Right, B, A, Select, Start.
Weird that this game doesn't use the Konami Code. To my knowledge anyway.
