Level Select and Lives Cheat in Streets of Rage (Sega Genesis) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #shorts
1,182In Streets of Rage for the Sega Genesis, there's a fairly simple code you can input at the beginning of the game to gain access to the Level Select as well as an Extra Lives option. Here's how to do the cheat:
On the game mode screen, hold A, B, C, and Right on controller 2 as you enter the Options menu with controller 1.
If you did the cheat code properly, the options menu will now include an option to choose how many lives you start with (and you can start with 1, 3, 5, or 7, but NOT an even number) as well as the level select option.
