A simple, fragrant blend you can make fresh before cooking that will give your food a great aroma and pleasing flavor!

For cooking in rice, I recommend this recipe I do almost daily:

Ingredients:
2 Cups Water
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Egg
1 Onion yellow onion (peeled and diced)
1 Roma Tomato (diced)
1 Cup Jasmine Rice
1-3 Teaspoons of this blend (as per your taste)
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Chicken Bullion Cube (or 1 Teaspoon powdered bullion/stock)
A couple strips of homemade chicken jerky, beef jerky, venison jerky, or pork jerky (whatever is on hand and you want that day)
1 Tablespoon of your favorite mayonnaise.

Directions:
Cut jerky into bits (chef's shears makes this super quick and easy).
Break up bullion cube.
Add jerky bits, egg, onion, tomato, pepper blend, sea salt, olive oil, and chicken bullion to water in medium sauce pan (about 2 qt volume).
Stir with whisk to break up and mix egg.
Stage rice poured and measured nearby.
Bring mixture to rolling boil.
Immediately add rice upon rolling boil.
Stir with whisk until rolling boil happens again.
Remove pot from heat, whisk a few seconds, then cover with lid.
Allow pot and ingredients to sit off of heat for 20 minutes.
Add mayonnaise.
Fluff and stir food with fork, getting mayo thoroughly mixed in.
* See optional step that would go here.
Serve and enjoy!

* Optional Step:
If you have it on hand, squeeze a slice of orange, lemon, and lime over rice before serving. Do not mix, so that the flavors remain distinct from each other.
