31this ship is really bad. it's a contender for the worst pilot ship in the entire game. i'm pretty sure this is intentionally bad since this is intended to be a joke machine. every stat is really low with the top speed being the lowest of all pilot ships. it's low enough that the CPU drivers can pass you on lap 1 often. the booster barely gets speed due to being very short and it has nothing else going for it. at least it doesn't have weird handling which makes it preferable to Space Angler imo. this machine is the perfect example of how Story Mode is a big sick joke by the devs because they made almost all the ships very bad just to rub it on people suffering through the missions on Very Hard.
i'm playing using the Wii U GC Adapter and an original GC controller. i also have an input display to show what i do during gameplay. the input display also comes with a function to change sensitivity and that lets me get around the sensitivity problem present in this version. it feels much closer to the original. there's still the input lag but it's more manageable.
