29this ship is a very unfortunate one. it has decent stats and good advanced tech potential but the camera has an oddity where it seems to detach from the ship and move weirdly when you're in certain angles and positions in the track. this makes it very tricky to maneuver well and holds it back a lot imo (i really hate this effect since it disorients me easily). that alongside the weak body makes it very tricky to use well in Grand Prix (in Time Attack you can just restart a run if things go bad). the ship's booster is also pretty bad since it doesn't pick up speed that fast and maxes out at rather low speeds. it does have good stick steering when the camera is behaving and has a usable MTS, which is why it has a high rank (it's just outside the top 10).
i'm playing using the Wii U GC Adapter and an original GC controller. i also have an input display to show what i do during gameplay. the input display also comes with a function to change sensitivity and that lets me get around the sensitivity problem present in this version. it feels much closer to the original. there's still the input lag but it's more manageable.
