F-Zero GX on Switch 2 GameCube Classics: Master Class beaten with White Cat
21this ship is one of those intended for beginners but it has flaws that make it pretty bad for that. for this ship, it's the way it turns. when you turn to one side, it shifts itself to te other side while turning and makes it very easy to hit the rails or fall off the road. it's the same problem as Wonder Wasp though this ship is not as twitchy but it loses a ton of speed on turns and that holds it back a lot. the only way to get around this is to use quick turns everywhere and even that is just partial since it still loses plenty of speed. as a result, it's no surpise this ship is near the bottom 5 and should be avoided since it's slow and hard to drive well.
i'm playing using the Wii U GC Adapter and an original GC controller. i also have an input display to show what i do during gameplay. the input display also comes with a function to change sensitivity and that lets me get around the sensitivity problem present in this version. it feels much closer to the original. there's still the input lag but it's more manageable.
