F-Zero GX - Wally the Legend
444F-Zero GX is my favorite racing game, so I feel like its about time I talked about what makes it so awesome. If you haven't played it before I highly encourage you to do so (well, duh. Why else would I have made a video on it?)
As part of the video's focus there were some things I left out. Its not that they aren't important, but they weren't what I wanted to focus on. Still, here are some other bits of information on the game:
-The Story doesn't end with Deathborn. There's a bit more to it, but it ventures into spoiler territory so I left it out.
-By completing story chapters or cups you're awarded tickets, which can be used to purchase characters, ship parts, continued story chapters and more. By completing tasks at higher difficulties you are awarded more and more tickets as well.
-During races you have a means of combating other ships through 2 different attacks: a side smash and a spinning attack. Both can be useful in eliminating opposition. However, on master difficulty it will be challenging to try and take out opposing racers when speeds are so quick. More often than not you need to focus on the racing at hand rather than hitting an opponent. Still, its another valid point towards racing strategy if you're feeling so inclined.
-The game (using the aforementioned parts) has a ship builder, allowing you to make custom ships. Alongside this you can make custom decals, adding another layer to the game. Its just a little feature that I didn't want to discuss to in-depth because its well, little. But at the same time its something that has potential in later F-Zero titles (if we ever get one, see my F-Zero ideas video for more on that)!
