F1 2023 Abu Dhabi GP Practice Data Analysis - What Did We Learn

Practice is over in Abu Dhabi and the fastest driver of the day was Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari and the Monegasque driver is going from strength to strength at the end of 2023, his teammate Carlos Sainz however found the wall and brought an early end to his FP2 session, this crash really hurt the track time for practice meaning the session was greatly reduced, it was reduced even further when Hulkenberg in the Haas crashed. Mclaren look to be back towards their best as Lando Norris was less than a tenth off of Leclerc, Red Bull are looking strong in race trim but might be a little on the weak side once again over one lap as Max Verstappen was not in the top 2 and Perez is looking a little weak, but that being said Verstappen has unbelievable race pace so it looks like even if Qualifying is a struggle they will make up for it in the grand prix.
Mercedes are still very hard to tell as Lewis Hamilton feels it may be another Q2 elimination in qualifying and George Russell looks strong but the race pace is not there and Mercedes could be vulnerable to losing 2nd in the constructors championship.
Aston Martin are looking like they are not as strong as in previous races this weekend, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll are looking unlikely to beat Mclaren and take 4th in the constructors championship, but what else did we learn?
