This weekend it is the final race of the year, after a season which has been dominated by Max Verstappen and Red Bull, they won last time out in Las Vegas and are heading into Abu Dhabi as dominant champions. But Ferrari are coming, Charles Leclerc and Calros Sainz had brilliant pace and could have won the race last time out and I think they will be strong again here at Abu Dhabi. Sergio Perez had a great recovery race and finished with a well deserved podium, he is now a long way clear of Lewis Hamilton and is secure in second in the drivers championship.
Ferrari are coming closer to Red Bull and that gives some excitement for the 2024 season. Aston Martin had another strong race cementing their place back at the sharp end of the grid but a couple of errors in the race means that it is now unlikely that they will be able to catch and pass Mclaren for 4th in the constructors championship.
Mclaren had a disastrous race and weekend. Norris crashed out early and teammate Piastri didn't have great pace. Mclaren will be looking for more heading into the final race of the year to defend 4th in the constructors championship.
The question is what will happen, in this video I give my thoughts.
