Qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka is over and it is Max Verstappen taking his first pole position for Red Bull for F1 2025 as both Mclaren drivers make mistakes which costs both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri a shot at Pole position despite the Mclaren car being a faster car overall. Verstappen shouldn't be on pole but he put it all together when others made mistakes, teammate Yuki Tsunoda had a difficult session and is starting in 15th place having been beaten by Liam Lawson in the Racing Bulls seat. For Ferrari they had a better session with Charles Leclerc as he is starting the race from 4th place, teammate Lewis Hamilton had a more difficult session and was beaten by Hadjar in the Racing Bulls. Mercedes look like they didn't extract everything from qualifying as George Russell went from being the closest contender to being beaten by Charles Leclerc. Kimi Antonelli had a solid day and will be starting next to Russell.
The question is what else did we learn from Suzuka qualifying well in todays video we are going to be taking a look at the data and doing a data analysis from qualifying.
