What We Learned From F1 Pre Season Testing

Pre season testing for the 2025 F1 season is over and we have finally seen all of the 2025 Formula 1 cars out on track and got our first glimpse at all of the drivers out in action but what did we learn. Well in todays video I am going to be taking a look and discussing exactly what we learned from an interesting test, where we got to see the likes of Kimi Antonelli and Isack Hadjar on track in an F1 car for the first time as official drivers and we saw how Antonelli very quickly got up to speed and was similar in pace to George Russell in the Mercedes. We also got our first glimpse at the potential running order for the season and things definitely are looking interesting.
Mclaren still look very strong as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in general looked to be the drivers to beat especially in the race simulations. Ferrari look to have a solid car as Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton both looked very comfortable quickly but there is definitely more to come. For Red Bull it was a difficult test as Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson both found the going a little bit tricky and they both have a lot to improve in the car, the pace is there but the balance at the moment is not quite where they want it to be. Finally for Mercedes they are in a fantastic position and things are looking very good for them. Kimi Antonelli quickly got up to speed and George Russell is looking comfortable again.
In the midfield Williams and Carlos Sainz were very impressive as was Pierre Gasly in the Alpine.
