The F256K2 is a new retro computer from Foenix Retro Systems launched in 2025. https://c256foenix.com/

The F256K2 supports many sound chips that can be programmed: 2x SID (in fpga), 2x PSG (in fpga), OPL3 YMF262 (in fpga), MIDI (onboard sam2695), MP3 and WAV and etc (onboard VS1053b).

FireJam is my own C application for all of this that lets you hook a synth through the MIDI in port and let you play with all of these chips, select instruments specific for them, play preset beats, and everything. Its source code in C is here:
