Factorio Base Tour - Carrod's Train Bus, 3.6k SPM Megabase
1,394This Factorio Base Tour looks at an amazing Train Bus concept Megabase that produces 3.6k SPM, made by Carrod. It uses trains instead of belts in a main bus form, which is fairly rare. There are 3 copies of science sections that do 1.2k SPM of each type of science.
The trains throughout the map are 1-4 single headed trains and run on a 14 lane rail system, with 7 lanes going each direction where each rail is dedicated to a type of material.
Nuclear Power is also used to supply power to the base, which consumes up to 22.5 GW of energy! Another unique aspect of the map, is that Carrod turned the tree settings all the way to max when generating the map, so it's basically one huge jungle and makes for some very cool and interesting scenes of trains speeding through forests, and even a science lab base hidden in the trees.
