769FACTORIO MEGABASE TUTORIAL & THEORY
This series will focus on how to start, build, and complete a Megabase in Factorio. The tips, tricks, builds, guides and theory in this series should help you build your own Megabase for the first time.
Episode 1 focuses on what I consider to be the first step in the process - creating a goal for your new mega factory to accomplish, as well as considering your options for types of logistics and transportation.
These options may include trains, belts, robots or a combination of them. A belt megabase may appeal to you if you enjoy routing challenges it presents. Robots are simpler on the service, but do introduce a whole new set of intricacies and challenges. Trains will likely be needed regardless, but will need a robust rail network and signaling.
