We are coming down to the end here in my play of Factorio 0.12!

In this episode, I build the sub-factory that will produce the parts that the rocket silo needs to build the 100 rocket parts that make up the rocket we need to launch.

Each rocket part needs 10 'low density structures', 10 'rocket control units', and 10 pieces of 'rocket fuel', for a total of 100 each since we need 100 rocket parts.

The rocket fuel is the easiest to make, as it is just made from solid fuel, which can be made from any of the oil products. I am using light oil, since you only need one light oil to make solid fuel, while it takes 2 heavy oil or 2 petroleum gas. The rocket fuel can then be made from 10 solid fuel, and it just so happens to take 10 times longer to make than the solid fuel, so you can have one chemical plant feeding each rocket fuel assembler.

The low density structures are made from 10 steel, 5 copper and 5 plastic. This isn't too hard to make as long as you are producing each of the items fast enough.

Finally for the rocket parts, you need rocket control units. These are made from once blue circuit, and one speed module. This really stresses your circuit production since it is using some of every type of circuit.

I set up production of each of these items, having 10 assemblers for each. I just hope my production of all the items needed can keep up with the rates these assemblers will need.

Finally, a set up one assembler to produce a satellite. This uses some rocket fuel and some low density structures, as well as solar panels, accumulators and some blue circuit boards. I have a long handed inserter ready to add the satellite into the rocket once the rocket is built.

With all that set up, I end the episode before powering everything up. We will start the production of the rocket in the next and final episode of this lets play!
