Fallout 3 Playthrough (No Commentary) part 16: Finishing Those!
0This is a casual playthrough of Fallout 3, Karma decisions will be made according to what I feel is right.
Those! is one of the quests you have to stumble upon due to the fact that it's activated when Brian himself starts the conversation rather than the other way around. (alternatively you can start it by finding Doctor Lesko)
Now the quest can be handled in a few different ways, if you don’t kill the ant queen then you will receive a choice between 1+ strength or perception (along with fire resistance) from Doctor Lesko.
However I realized too late that you can also kill the ant queen and if you got high enough science or speech, you can still receive the reward from him plus good karma which i might have done if i knew of this, but oh well.
You can also hack the hatchery terminal to either kill all the ants in Grayditch or destroy the mutagen sample (also for good karma) but these seem to be optional.
After you deal with the ants, you may help Bryan find a new home with a few options. For good karma you may send him to Rivet city where her cousin Vera will take care of him. For Evil Karma you can sell him to slavers and there is also a neutral option to send him to another place we have yet to encounter, more on those options when we run into them.
On this part, we repeatedly get set on fire by giant ants and meet a doctor who is not only a douche but also bad at his job.
