Fallout 3 Playthrough (No Commentary) part 13: The Citadel
0This is a casual playthrough of Fallout 3, Karma decisions will be made according to what I feel is right.
Welcome to the Citadel, the home of the D.C. branch of the Brotherhood of Steel.
Normally in the fallout world, the Brotherhood's main concern is to gather up pre-war technology and keep it away from those who would abuse it, however in this game they are actively trying to assist the people of the Capital Wasteland by hunting down and eliminating Super Mutants and other threats.
Some members however have decided to pursue their original goal and became the outcasts and akin to most brotherhood members, don't really care to help people that much.
For now, we are allies to the Brotherhood and get access to their base built on the pentagon, in which we not only can learn how to equip power armor but also get the information to find the geck our father needed to get the purifier working.
We can also give them holotags we pick from any dead bodies we happen to find for some rewards like with scrap metals, sugar bombs and bloodbags.
Finally we get our first companion due to our high karma, so i can now carry even more junk to sell, but unlike New Vegas and 4, companions can die permanently so take care.
But before we continue with the main quest, I'm going to focus on some of the side quests we picked up and also make a visit back home, but not before spending the majority of the video walking at turtle speed because I'm such a hoarding bastard.
On this part, we make friends with a bunch of heavily armed nerds with laser weapons.
