Fallout 3 Playthrough (No Commentary) part 17: Stealing Independence
0This is a casual playthrough of Fallout 3, Karma decisions will be made according to what I feel is right.
In another round of finishing quests we previously picked up, it's time for Stealing Independence.
I actually went for this quest a lot earlier but ran into a few problems, mainly the fact that AI companions (both temporary and permanent) are really bad at survival when at low health.
They usually don’t attempt to heal or run away when their health gets low so unless you can take out the enemies quickly enough then you will end up losing the companion easily.
Sydney in particular died a lot on the first attempts to complete the quest, sometimes she gets killed by either the super mutant with the rocket launcher, the many robots guarding the declaration of independence or even to her own landmines.
So I decided instead to come back to this once I had better gear and a proper companion to make it easier. I still had some trouble but overall It went better than before.
I also decided to murder Moriarty and show off what happens to his bar after he dies. The game considers it an evil act despite the fact that he is a complete bastard who treats a lot of people like shit, but whatever...
On this part: We meet a robot stuck in the American revolution and murder a greedy bastard with explosive money.
