Fallout 3 is a modern RPG masterpiece, but it wasn’t easy for developer Bethesda to adapt the pre-established franchise for a new generation. Luckily, one particular quest cemented the game in the minds of post-apocalyptic RPG fans -- at least it did for me.

That’s thanks to a particular quest called The Power of the Atom, which tasks players with either fixing or detonating a live warhead in the middle of the town of Megaton. This quest is the backbone of Fallout 3’s decision-making, so I wanted to explore it in this video.

If you’re looking to play Fallout 3 yourself, the easiest way is through Xbox Game Pass, where other games from the franchise are also available. Otherwise, it’s available on several consoles, as well as PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
